Hello! I've been trying out the demo of RadioBoss for a while, and I've fallen in love with this software. Easy to set up, and it does just about everything I need it to do.
However, one feature that's missing is the ability to save multiple text files with Now Playing information. As an example, I'd like to save a text file for the current artist and another text file for the current title. I want the artist and title separate so I can use Stereo Tool's RDS encoder to generate RadioText+ information. I'd also like the standard nowplaying.txt with the typical Artist - Title format for any streaming encoders.
The way I see this working: make a title.txt template with %title as the file contents, and make an artist.txt with %artist in that file. If desired, make a nowplaying.txt with %artist - %title as that file's contents. Select these templates for RadioBoss to read from in the Reports panel, and RadioBoss generates the artist.txt, title.txt, and nowplaying.txt files. I'd also like to use RadioBoss's FTP copy feature to send these files to the system running Stereo Tool.
If there's another existing method to do what I'm trying to do, please let me know. Otherwise, this is an awesome piece of software.
