Bypass Scheduler's On/Manual states

An option in event's settings to run it despite scheduler being turned off or in manual mode.
That's not possible. Even if we add such a feature, the next request would be "a feature to completely turn off all events". What is the purpose of such an option? Maybe there's another solution.

Basically the first usage is to ensure that events which are entirely technical are executed, ie. update library, make backup. The second one is to reduce the human factor. We're running a college radio, so we have a bunch of people whose qualifies vary, so its mainly for the safety sake.

You see, I would be happy if the 'scheduler on' command will untick the 'Manual' state.

Makes sense. I think an option to ignore the "Manual" checkbox will be added to events.

For this you can utilize the User Account Control feature (http://manual.djsoft.net/radioboss/en/user_account_management.htm) - just disable the "Modify scheduled events" option so users with no admin rights will be unable to change scheduler settings.

An additional parameter will be added for this command to also change the Manual box state.

As you took part in beta testing process, your license can be upgraded for free to RadioBOSS Advanced, if you like (please write to support@djsoft.net if you decide to upgrade, or answer here).
