Copy Event Id

What does the option to copy event ID (right click on an event)?

I clicked it by accident yesterday and an event was added in a weird place (not where I expected).

The "Copy event ID" copies the event's ID (a text) to the buffer and does nothing else. It does not add, or clone, or modify events. The ID may be needed if you want to use it with API or for scheduler commands to start events.
