Drag and Drop inside playlist

I must not have something correctly configured somewhere in RB. I tried searching the forum but my search skills are somewhat lacking. Here's the issue:

I have two installations of the current version of RB. One is the on-air instance, and one is a production instance I use for creating playlists, voice tracking, etc. Both installations are using the same settings (the on-air settings were exported, then imported into the production machine).

On the on-air machine, I can move assets around in the playlist by dragging and dropping. But on the production machine I can not drag and drop anything. Assets will not move if dragged. It looks like it'll work, but upon dropping, nothing changes.

Unfortunately, the production machine is where I need to move things around. I can cut and paste, but that can be unwieldy at times.

Not sure where I'm going wrong here. Any ideas? Thanks...

Yes, I have RB set to run as admin by default.

There's no need to run RadioBOSS with Administrator rights and it never needs to be done, it's designed to work under user account. Running from User account but with Admin rights may cause file permission problems. Maybe this also what causes drag-n-drop problems. Please run it by simply double-clicking on its icon.

Makes no difference whether admin or not. No drag-and-drop in the playlist on the production instance.

It can be blocked by the antivirus software, if you have it installed (nit Windows Defender but any 3rd party solution). Apart from that, I'm not sure what could be the reason, the drag-n-drop is always enabled and should work.
