DTMF tones, please help

Hi, long time no see here.
Is there any way to change the streaming source for DTMF tones automatically. We are currently connecting to two stations and we are doing it manually.
We have also tried inserting the source through Input 3, for example, but the DTMF tones come out on the air (something that doesn't happen in URL. I guess it's something to do with the buffer).
Any solution for this?

Hi, I'm still having trouble with DTMF tones. Can I play an ad with DTMF tones enabled, but if they aren't detected, have the ad play without interrupting the current song? I understand that if I don't select 'Play without waiting for the current track to end', the live stream won't be interrupted.

You can configure the event to start by time if the tone is not detected. In this case the event starts according to its startup options (wait or not for the current track, queue etc).

I think I didn’t explain myself well. Let me try again to see if we can figure something out...

Let's start from the beginning. I have a live program that takes place outside the main studio, so to insert the ads and avoid sending the cues to the host, we disconnect using DTMF tones. Our setup is as shown in the picture.

The problem is that the rest of the programming is broadcast from the studio, and we don’t want the current track playing to be cut off when broadcasting the scheduled programming, which is what happens with this configuration.

If we uncheck "Run scheduled launch without waiting for current track to finish," then the track on air won’t be cut off when the time comes and the DTMF is not detected. But if it's checked, the track on air gets cut off when the scheduled time comes, but it waits until the end of the streaming URL.

One possible solution could be setting a duration for the streaming URL. For example, the remote program should last around 25 minutes, and when that time is up, the ads would play if no DTMF tone is detected. However, there's a risk of having dead air if the set time isn’t reached.

Another solution would be to have two ad playlists, one with DTMF tones and one without, but this means double work in the ad scheduler, as it cannot copy from one profile to another.

Any other ideas?

You can probably use the setdtmfsource command to switch DTMF source to some unused input, where it will not detect anything, effectively disabling DTMF.
If the tone is not detected, event will start at "event start time" + "DTMF checking window" (as set in Settings->DTMF).

Another solution, if live program runs at the same time every day, is to have two Ads Scheduler profiles, one for live program and another for the rest of the day.

I would like to express my interest in having NDI functionality integrated into RadioBoss. This tool would be of great value to a wide community of users seeking to seamlessly integrate audio and video.

We have this planned in general, but currently it's not assigned for any of the upcoming versions. At this moment, I can't say when/if it will be added.
