Preamble:
The video shows the different sound level states when using the "Fade Out" mix point in the Track Tool.
This is the "Fade Out" effect, which continues until you stop playback.
This fade-out effect actually continues when you click on a previous point in the waveform.
And the opposite effect occurs, i.e., an instant increase in the sound level, when you return to this mix point.
I get the same result.
It seems logical to me.
However, I understand that this can be annoying because the "Fade Out" sound level effect continues to occur even if you select a point earlier than this mix point.
You must select another earlier point a second time during current playback for the "Fade Out" effect to stop.
In any case, you must stop playback to also stop the "Fade Out" effect.
We'll see if the support team can improve this.
Another note:
I'm taking advantage of this thread to report a time shift of the "Mix" mix point when it is positioned on the track's waveform.
This point must be assigned 3 to 4 milliseconds earlier for the mix to be correct when the track is played in the playlist.
Example attached.
If I had set the mix point to the "kick" of the waveform, the next track would have started 3 milliseconds later after the "kick."
And the mix wouldn't have been good with the next track.
This applies to all tracks.
