Great software, just got back into it since v5... A lot of new features. Thanks
I just have a few requests.
1. Container Color/Name
2. Playlist Generator rules (Maximum or Minimum in a Row for Gender, Genre or any specific tag)
3. Specify a number of played tracks to leave in the playlist. (So we use the playlist in queue mode because we load playlists every hour and we don't want it all full with played tracks, so some DJs think it would be OK if some tracks would be left in the playlist window and not immediately deleted e.g. the previous 3, 4 or 5...any number specified, for back announcements).

Containers naming will be available in the next update and coloring is already possible using the File Types feature.

Please also see the next update when it comes out, there will be lots of new features in the Playlist Generator. Probably those will suit your needs.

You can create a file type with "contanier=" identifier, and set colors for it. This will change the colors for all containers. If you want to set colors for specific containers, then you should wait for the RadioBOSS 7.1 release, where naming the containers will be possible, so you can use the container's name as identifier.

Now one more thing on my mind.
If we can export CSV from the Library, can there be an option to import audio files using CSV too?

If you want to export/import the same list of files, it can be done using the playlists - save a playlist, then import it to the library.

OK. But here is the scenario I want to paint... Export a CSV from station playlist creator and import it into RB.

Like migrating from another automation... Since they can export text, CSV files

When you import into the Music Library it will only read the file names and not any other information from the file. If it supports TXT exporting, you can try that, and import this file as a playlist.

Thanks, I experimented with a m3u8 playlist. And it worked fine. I can now recreate the entire library within RadioBoss from the other automation software. Only bummer is reading other tag information. If only it could read APE tag information from SPL Creator.

RadioBOSS reads the standard tag fields, but not any application-specific tags, I'm sorry. Another problem is that importing such additional data is not completely possible because different software has different feature set and different meaning of the same parameters.

Yes, I understand. Good thing i got ways around getting music into the library.
