Microphone Volume

Hi.

I'm a new user, so I apologize if this was answered already and I missed it.

When I use the mic to do some live announcing, listeners report that it sounds very low/quiet relative to the music. Do I need to push my meters higher? Or do I need to add a hardware compressor?

Many thanks,
Darryl

Increase microphone amplifier and decrease music level
if this is not enough, integrate the VST plugin JB Broadcaster for 32 bit or TB Broadcaster for 64 bit into DSP

You should check the microphone settings in Windows, and in the control panel of the sound card (if there is one), there are also options to amplify microphone in RadioBOSS (see the above post). But it would be better to ensure that the signal that comes to RadioBOSS is not quiet.
