My playlists (M3U) won't work.

Hello, I'm new to this software having formerly used SAM3 and currently using ZaraRadio. In Zara I primarily use 3 playlists in the M3U format, 5,000 ; 4,000 & 1,000 tracks in length respectively. These worked great in SAM and Zara but they took a long time to create.

I've already scanned my media folders and have created my Music Library. I've then created a few tasks in the Scheduler incorporating those playlists, however the music does not play. It will tear through 100 files without a single peep. I get an "Error Code = 2 (can't open file)" for all of them.

What's going on? How can I import these playlists? I would terribly dread creating all 3 playlists with their thousands of entries.  :-\

Please send one of those playlists to the support@djsoft.net for analysis. Maybe we'll convert them to a usable format or modify RadioBOSS so it'll be able to read it correctly.

Thanks. The playlist using relative paths, and for some reason RadioBOSS doesn't process it correctly. This error will be fixed within several days.

Ahh, I see what you mean. I opened one in Notepad and saw that it did not have the drive letter present (ie., D:) in the song path.

#EXTINF:305,Aldo Nova - Fantasy
\Music\MP3\Various Vocals\A-D\Aldo Nova - Fantasy.mp3

Hmm, I wonder.... If I used "Find and Replace" in notepad I could find every instance of \Music\MP3 and replace it D:\Music\MP3 to get the actual path?

OK I did that and the playlists work correctly with RadioBoss!
As a work around when I edit playlists with WinAmp I need to save them to another drive or partition to insure the playlist has the full, actual path.
