Playlist Generator Pro : New broadcast settings

Given the complexity of my request, I created this new post which is related to version 7.1 (beta).

In my playlists, I notice a repeated broadcast of a selection of titles from one of my categories.

Here are the details: my “Top” category includes around thirty new products with high popularity according to my antenna charter. Most of these new releases are broadcast at the same time of day from one day to the next or from one broadcast to another.

Example :
Title A broadcast at 12:00 on day No. 1
Title A broadcast at 12:10 on day No. 2
Title A broadcast at 12:05 on day No. 3

Title B broadcast at 2:00 p.m. on day No. 1
Title B broadcast at 2:30 p.m. on day No. 2
Title B broadcast at 2:15 p.m. on day No. 3

My screenshots show you the broadcast times for a selection of titles.

It’s almost the same broadcast schedule for these titles in my “Top” category during a period. And this gives the feeling of advertising planning for these titles as if it was intended. Although this is not at all desired.

This category is notably configured as follows:
Two “Top” categories per hour between 6:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m.
The title should not be broadcast until the next 8 hours.

And I see most of these songs played at regular intervals. It's embarrassing.

Is it possible to create a new setting to tell Playlist Generator to play a song with a delay of say plus or minus two hours (example) from the last broadcast time?
This would be a parameter that could be configured manually: choice of the time interval in relation to the time of the last broadcast.

Example :
If “Title A” was played at 12:00 p.m. on day No. 1, the next broadcast may be before 10:00 a.m. or after 2:00 p.m. on day No. 2.

The goal is to broadcast a title at a time different from the day before or the last broadcast so as not to give the feeling that the title is broadcast out of absolute desire like an advertisement.

Before I came back to PLGen Pro I requested this in the past.
It's a great addition, it makes people not "think they always listen to the same thing at the same time". If for example someone is going to work at 7 am and listens to the same song
the next day at the same time (for random reasons), the brain looks for patterns and will associate "they always repeat the same song"
For this, the repetition rules are insufficient.
I previously worked with MusicMaster, which had a rule for this.
It is the only rule I miss from that tool.

Yes, we will be adding this in the next version.

Actually the same example sits in the bug tracker here about this feature. It's certainly useful and will be added in 7.2 I suppose.

Thank you, I wanted to ask the same thing too since a long time, I think I made this feature request, I must have mentioned this idea in a post where I thought that we always heard the titles at the same time.

Yes, we will be adding this in the next version.

Thank You Dmitri !!! Good news
