Scheduled Events

I have the option selected in the "Scheduler Settings" to "Do not start scheduled events when the playlist is stopped".
I need this option so that when an ad break is scheduled it doesn't play by itself, the end user starts the break manually.
(They maybe playing off CD) when they are ready they start the ad break.

I have another "Multiple action event" that I need to start and run, however the above option does at it should, and prevents the event running, however I need this event to run when scheduled. Is there a way / another option to have this run, while the others follow the above setting?

Thanks.

Thanks, I had tried that but I missed the option in the Ad Scheduler -> Event Properties.
I was relying on the other two options

Thanks very much.

Unfortunately this hasn't resolved my issue, the option in the Ad Scheduler does what it should and will not action the ad break when RadioBOSS is stopped, this means the ad break isn't added and is missed.

I need the ad break event to run, but not start. If I turn this option off in the ad scheduler under the event properties the ad break event starts even though something else is playing.

For example, I have someone playing off an external CD, I need the ad break event to run but not start, the announcer can then start the ad break at their leisure.

I can't use the global option under settings -> scheduler as I have other events that I need to start when the event runs.

Thanks.

I've found a workaround, it's not ideal however it works....

I've added the stop.command
In the setting of adscsheduler -> Ad Blocks -> Select Block Intro -> stop.command

When the ad event starts it hits the stop.command and stops the ad break until the user decides to play the break.

Please let me know if there is another option as I may need the Intro setting for something later.

Thanks.

This now causes the issue when RadioBOSS is unattended, prior to the ad break it stops, because of the stop command added.
We can't schedule ad breaks overnight now when no one is here as hit will stop.

Is there anyway I can toggle the global "Do not start scheduled events when the playlist is stopped" by a command or is there anyway to get around this.

Thanks.

In this case, you need to uncheck the "Run without waiting for the current track to finish" option, it will make it insert the event into the playlist, but will not play. But if nothing's playing, event will start playback.

Stopping these can be tricky, but I have managed to get mine to stop. However, there's still an issue with the 2-hour framework on the schedulers. It seems to set a random playtime, sometimes amounting to 1.5 hours, despite the playlist schedule being set to repeat every 2 hours (120 minutes). This inconsistency is strange because the edit schedule shows a repeat every 2 hours. If RB is started, it shows 1 hour and 20 minutes until it reaches 1 hour and 20 minutes, and then it runs every 2 hours thereafter.

As you can see the time is 9:00am and the schedular has played 15 songs and has an hour left on Scheuler but 1 hr. 32 left to play so it will be cut off by scheduler event

What it seems to be doing is setting the schedule on the hour not at the start time of the schedule so that it finishes on the hour I presume this is what its supposed to be doing?
