silence detector problem

Hi,
from once in a while we have the problem that the Silence detector is activated because the boss could not find a file although it is definitely there (it's a station jingle, which is being played several times per day).

We now suspect that there could be an influence from the server time leveling which is executed once daily. To be more concrete: is it a problem if you change the server time (maybe from 3:30 to 3:32) with a running radio boss?

Thx,
best regards from Munich

What error message is there when it can't play the file? Where the file is locate, is it on a shared network folder or it's a local file?

Yes, it could possibly affect the operation. Why it's required to change the time daily?

error message: unfortunately not exactly sure which one

File: local file

Time change: for sure it's not necessary daily, but once we had trouble because of a wrong server time we thought that we could patch the time daily if it works.

This is important. Without error message it's hard to even guess what is wrong...

Looks like server's hardware is faulty, so time doesn't go at right speed there... It can cause any random issues, like software not finding files which are there.

Lately we got this message:

PlGen Error: 259 ("C:\Program Files\RadioBOSS\PlaylistGeneratorPro.exe" "-hidden=news mo-fr 16") preset: "news mo-fr 16"

It's almost always at the full hour that we got problems with files which could not be found (but which are definitely there).

Another error message is this one:
Problem sending data to a server. Please check network upload speed (Output 1)
Here, the program doesn't stop and everything seems to work correctly

Another error message is this one:
Unable to open profile: C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Application Data\djsoft.net\RadioBOSS_211484250\Profile\Munich's Hardest Hits.prf

This is another one:
Unable to play! Error code =  2 (unable to open the file/invalid server address).

The "Problem sending data to a server. Please check network upload speed (Output 1)" indicates a network problem on either your side or your streaming server.

Other errors look like file system errors - you should try restarting your PC, and also check if your disk is in good state.
