Could you add "Category" in Playlist Columns in future updates? We typically create playlists based on categories created in the Playlist Editor. It would be nice to be able to see what categories of songs are appearing on our published playlists so as to be able to detect potential scheduling issues.

There's no Category field in RadioBOSS so it wouldn't be possible to add such a column. I think you can use the Tags feature for this: https://manual.djsoft.net/radioboss/en/using-tags.htm - the playlist has this column.
Is there a way to batch select particular tracks and assign a tag to all at once?
Yes, you can do it in the Music Library: select tracks, then right-click and there will be options to add/remove tags.

Tried to do this but the changes are not being reflected in the playlist columns. The tag region in the columns remains blank.
Sometimes data in the playlist is not updated immediately, but the tags will be seen once playlist is reloaded.
