Compressor adjustment not working correctly

Hello,

We are a community radio station in Australia and we are evaluating RadioBOSS prior to purchasing it.  The Compressor feature is important to us and we have discovered that all 5 settings do not save correctly after they have been adjusted.

Gain works ...
Threshold does not save
Ratio does not save
Attack does not save
Release does not save

Are we going crazy or is this a bug ?

Thanks in advance ...

Australians are crazy by nature so you don't have a bug !
BUT seriously
I encountered this problem too.
GAIN works, so leave it out of this......
If you do this weird procedure, it seems to work:
(1) Stop Playback
(2) Turn Compressor ON
(3) Change settings to what you want
(4) Hit RESET button (ignore the fact the settings change..all will be well in the end)
(5) Turn Compressor from ON to OFF
(6) Then turn it back ON again
(7) Exit
(Eight) Go back and look and just maybe the settings have changed 8)

Hopefully I got this procedure right for you to follow...cross fingers
OHH and greetings from Kiwiland  ;)

BUT Djsoft
This does need looking at, the Aussies are right about it

Yes... It's definitely a bug, just checked and the only value saved is Gain.
Thanks for report!

Thanks DJSTU what you described worked.  I hope the bug can be fixed because compression is very important to us to have a single box solution and not extra gadgets hanging off it.  Thanks ...

It's already fixed in the RadioBOSS 4.5 beta :) so when it will be released, the bug wont' be there anymore...

Dmitry,

The compressor seems to be working fi9n e in the Beta release.  Thanks ...

Can you suggest some standard "run of the mill" settings for the 5 preset values ?  I just want something that will for us so that we can get started and forget about the settings for a few weeks.

Thanks, Jamie ...

The RadioBOSS 4.5 already releseed (not beta) - you can get it here: http://dl.djsoft.net/radioboss_demo.exe

Anout crossfade settings... I'm not sure what's the best. Maybe someone else here could help on this :)
