Duplicate File Types and Duplicate Global Categories

Hi Dmitri,

It could be useful to have the possibility to Duplicate File Types or Categories, or Global Categories to gain some work time, for example with a button like you did for Autointros entries :

In another hand, it could be useful to Globalize de personalized colors palet in the software, because when you are trying to save personalized colors it's not possible to memorize colors you created :'( :

What do you think ?

Best Regards

In the Playlist Generator you can duplicate a category: under the category list click the Import Category button, then select a category.

It should already do that. Where do you see the colors not saved?

This is not possible when categories are globalized to duplicate and there are no options to duplicate File Types too

I made a screen recording attached

We'll see what can be done for the global categories. What is the point of duplicating the file type?
Here is a use case which I am currently dealing with - I need to assign the same settings (colors, beds, broacasting titles, etc) of one file type to a set of files located in a different folder than the one currently associated with that file type. Duplication would allow me to duplicate the file type and assign its settings to a different folder. This kind of duplication and renaming is something we are able to do with scheduled events, for example. If not 'duplicate', then 'save as new' would also work.

Thank you for specifying the use case. We'll consider it for the future updates.
