Extended Logs for Playlist Generator Pro (PIGenerator Pro)

Hi Dmitri, Hi Djsoft Team,

I'm using regularly priorities additional rules in RB, and there is an amount of tracks excluded by the Playlist Generator following the established rules. I wanted to ask you to create an "advanced log" or an "extended log" for playlist generator to be able to visualize what the random motor selection is doing and what titles are excluded or not to adjust my rules and have a rich and equilibrated program.

You can find the extended log in the folder: in RadioBOSS, click Settings, Open Settings Folder, then open Log folder.

I found the playlistgenerator.log but as I told you there is no details for example about the excluded tracks, we can't know which track are exluded :

Example :

[2025-01-31 20:56:39] Tracks excluded (priority less than zero): 5

I'm not sure how detailed list of excluded tracks can be useful. In some cases, it will be very large, especially if such detailed log is enabled for filters. What do you want to do with this log?

Hey Dmitri,

The Goal is to be able to visualize, what titles are excluded to adjust more accurately the priorities rules in my schedules, Because if the rules are too much restrictive, some songs are never broadcasted. I know I can also check out the Database last played tags and countdown but it's more difficult. And at the moment I'm studying RadioBoss to understand why there is some tracks which are never broadcasted !

It's exactly what I thought, like the way to activate e.g "Sweeper Debug Log"

It's fairly easy for us to add as this feature already exists, but is disabled in the release version.
