How is artwork posted

Could you please inform me how the artwork is posted to Shoutcast. Do you use the icy-meta tag, or another method. I would like to implement something similar into icecast.

I don't know the exact protocol details, but it's only Shoutcast thing. If you want to transfer the artwork to your web site, you can use notifications (%artwork variable): https://manual.djsoft.net/radioboss/en/http_request.htm

I understand it's only Shoutcast. My question is how you transfer the art to Shoutcast. Do you do a separate API call, include the artwork as part of the metadata. If you could share the API reference I would appreciate it, as their websites are broken. I just need to know how your code handles sending of the artwork.
