Multiple Players/New Hour Directive

Do you guys at djsoft plan to develop multiple players with RadioBOSS? In other words, be able to out put more than one player to different channels to an external mixer board? And with this, you could also have the option to run the software in automation where everything from the list is loaded automatically, or you can have the option of manual mode where everything must be loaded manuallly in the case where you may be doing a talk show and just want to load commercials, bumpers etc. by hand.

Also, in automation, I'd like to see something where I could generate a 24 hour playlist w/ commercials and ID's etc in it; however, I'd like to have a command that would allow the system to advance to the next hour (i.e the next legal ID) to keep the clock on time and the commercials and ID's running at the right time, or at least approximate. The only way to do this right now is to execute everything through the scheduler; which is excelent for automation but I think it'd be easier to manipulate where your talk breaks are when the commercials are already visible in the playlist and what not. Please let me know your thoughts or these issues.

Thank You,

Multiple players are planned (2 or more playlists which may be played simultaneously). But there are some more priority tasks (improving TrackTool, Playlist generator, etc), so this feature goes to the beginning of the next year - January or February 2012.
If you need to play different streams to a different channels, it's easier to install several RadioBOSS copies to a different folders and use them independently.

The Manual mode for scheduler was introduced recently (yesterday :)) in the RadioBOSS 4.6.1. In the event setting you can check the "Manual Event" option. Event will not start automatically, but will "flash" in the list in red. To start it, select the event and click the "Run Now" button.

Yes, the best and the most precise way to insert hour ID's, commercials and other items - is to use scheduler. That's because software was initially designed for fully automated, un-manned operation.

Now it's going to support live operation too, so I think in the future, the Playlist Generator Pro should be able to insert commercials and hour ids in the playlist. Or, maybe we'll do it another way: scheduled items will always be visible in the playlist.
