Playlists seem to play the same order.

Hello there. No stranger to Radioboss. Hands down one of the best software's iv used, simple, easy to use. Easy to read layout. How ever, I've seem to be having a issue with the playlist. I have PLENTY of music, to last well over 2 days. Every night I have scheduled for radioboss to clear playlist at 11:59:55pm and regenerate a new fresh list at 12:00:00AM. How ever I don't know why it took me so long to realize , I guess some one (or a few) told me and then I realized, but all the songs seem to be playing in the exact same order as the previous day. In fact some can call the next name of the song . Any help would be greatly appreciated. Is it some settings I need to play with. I run 4 folders, oldies/2000-2015/2015-2022/2022-2024. I thought maybe the folder setup maybe the issue but I don't know.

This is a potential problem. You left only 5 seconds to create a playlist, which may not be enough.

I recommend the following approach:

1. Schedule an event to create a playlist and save it to a file (use the Wizard in the event window, choose it to save the playlist to a file); make this event start some time in advance. Like 5 or 10 minutes before it's supposed to play - in your case it would be 11:50 pm.
2. Create another event to start that generated playlist at 12:00 am with "Replace tracks" option.

If you find that each time the same tracks are playing, looks like playlist creation event is failing, but the old created playlist file remains, so it's loaded over again.

Folder setup doesn't matter, software will process anything.
