Radioboss Cloud Scheduler problem

I want to be able to play a 2 hour country show every Friday starting at 7pm until 9.
In the media I have a music folder called Country its just a large selection of country songs.

So I created a scheduled event to play out starting at 7pm
I set the scheduler as capture 1.

The auto country playlist is as per capture 2.

It starts no problem and plays the playlist auto country which Selects a random country tracks.

I want it to keep doing this until the end time at 9 pm I set the duration to 7200 seconds expecting it to end and swap back to the 60s 70s 80s playlist as its the main rotation. BUT it just carries on!
I was told by a user on the other radioboss forum I needed to create many auto country events which would each in turn select a randon track until the whole 2 hours had been covered. Based on at least 3 mins per random track that would be20 plus seprate events in the sheduled auto country playlist. That didnt work it did play random country tracks but at the 7200 seconds saw it had reached the duration limit when I looked at the log but just carried on with the next random country track.

Even more bad news the 60s 70s 80s country auto dj started playing along with the random country track what a noise!

Can anyone help please. I have tried to do this for the past 2 years! without success.

I basically want radioboss sheduler to play a 2 hour show starting at 7pm ending at 9 and reverting back to the 60 70 80s playlist as our normal rotation.

The normal rotation is shown in capture 5.

Am I asking radioboss cloud to do something it will not do? Seems such a simple task hopefully someone can help me solve this nightmare.

Duration limit only limits the event's duration - in case it's longer than that, it will not extend the event top fill the set duration limit. If you want to play two hours of country music, there are two ways:

• Add more items to the playlist, so that its duration exceeds2 hours.
• Use the Replace Playlist option, this way only country music will present in the playlist, and as the playlist is repeated, after playing the last track, it will start over from the first track. At 9pm, you need to schedule another playlist so that it replaces the country playlist.

The second approach is preferrable, this way you can simply swap playlists when needed.

Many thanks that all makes good sense Ive just set it up to play the Motown one hour show starting at 1800 with the duration time set to 3600 seconds (1 hour)then I have set another event at 1900 using the main rotation sheduled event with the insert position set to replace playlist so hopefully it will see the duration limit has been reached then run the next event which will reload the main rotation.

I really do appreciate your help, its quite a complex thing to try and discuss when I dont know that much about how it works. I found some documentation of the Radioboss cloud but I wondered if there was any deeper documentation of Radioboss Cloud especially the sheduler area. If there is if you could send the link hopefully it would save me mithering you so much.

In this case, duration limit is not needed, as another event is starting after one hour.
