RadioBoss Shoutcast Statistics

After a while I wanted to check what new additions RadioBoss has but there seems to be a bug with the listener statistics. It always says "401 Unauthorized". If I manually enter the statistics server it tells me the same. There is no http:// before it. Streamserver is Shoutcast v2

Please send your server details to support@djsoft.net, we'll test it here. What password do you use to retrieve stats - admin or source?

Well. Server Details: SHOUTcast Server v2.5.1.723 on Debian Jessie.

I tried it with Admin, Source, Main Admin and Main Source passwords. result is always the same -> 401 unauthorized

We tested it with 2.5.x versions and it worked well here. Please send screenshots of encoder and statistics windows to take a look at (if you don't want to publish here, write to support@djsoft.net).

Here you go. Removed URLs for security reasons.

Tried multiple things: Clear-URLs, IP-URLs, Admin Password, Stream Password, Main Shoutcast Admin & Stream passwords, get statistics from broadcast server, get statistics from different server (same server as stream server)

Is there maybe a type of character restriction in radioboss? The passwords don't include region-specific characters but international available ones.

International characters (like "?") could well be a problem. Generally it's not recommended to use international characters in passwords. I suggest you to change the password to make it contain only latin letters, numbers and special characters. I'll add it to the list of bugs, we'll see if we can do anything about it, just in case.

I changed the passwords now. It really seems that this is caused by Characters like %/&\ and so on. But I know it worked some more versions ago in RadioBoss. Maybe this is an enhancement for the future again.

I'll see if this can be fixed, but using unicode characters for passwords is a bad idea anyway...
