stop the spambots idea

I have a great request to stop the spambots from posting on here

my idea is why don't you put registertion to admin approvel so spambots can't post here anymore

tell me what you think about my idea

There was admin approval thing some time ago. Didn't work good. It's time consuming (for admins - need to check every user) and it's not convenient for users, as they will need to wait till admins approve them.
We'll improve registration process, so it'll be more difficult for spammers to register automatically.
