Transition when using commands between tracks

Hi, I've noticed a problem in RadioBOSS when a command is placed between two tracks in a playlist. The transition (crossfade) between the tracks doesn't work as expected – instead of a smooth fade from Track A to Track B, the playback is interrupted or the second track starts abruptly.

Yes, this is the limitation of using the commands in the playlist. If possible, consider running the commands using the Overlay Playback events or placing it in a different position in the playlist where it won't be noticeable.

I know how to do an overlay with the scheduler, but how can you run a command at a given time? Can they, for example, be put on the cart wall, or chained together to make macros that could then be assigned to a key?

You can use the commands in cart wall - enter it into the filename field.

Commands also work if run in the overlay playback player.

Are you talking about the preview of the selected track that can be heard when pressing alt+r;, or are you talking about the playback cue option under the tools menu? If not, is this something that isn't in the menus that I haven't seen?

After the command comes a track, so unfortunately this is not a solution. Is there any other way to have RadioBOSS execute a command when the event starts and ends without destroying the transition?

One way would be to schedule another event at the same time with "Overlay playback" option and make it execute the command.
