RadioBOSS Cloud

It moves the selected item, not focused. You need to select it then use the hot key to move it.
I can confirm that ctrl + up arrow does indeed conflict with the NVDA screen reader. I tried using it both with nvda and also selecting the item in the playlist, turning off nvda, then moving the item, and it worked. But turning off my screen reader, moving an item and turning the screen reader back on is far from ideal. You could use Alt + up arrow or down arrow instead, and I don't think that should conflict with anything, since I have used that key combination elsewhere, for example to adjust sliders, and it works.
Also, I am having a slight issue and hope you can tell me what I am doing wrong. Here are my settings. It is for an ad break in the middle of a scheduled stream. The idea is to have the stream drop out, the ad break play, then reconnect to the stream. I'm not going to copy every single thing here, just those that are relevant.
Start time 03:29:20
Insert Type: Replace Playlist

Insert as regular playlist tracks
Run without waiting for current track to finish
Duration limit: 120 sec
Overlay playback
Playlist level: 0

When "insert as regular playlist tracks" is unchecked, the audio plays as expected, and the desired stream drop, break, and reconnect works. However, when insert as normal tracks is unchecked, it does not seem to send the meta data needed for ad stitching to happen. I need to have tracks inserted as normal playlist tracks so that meta data is sent and ads can be triggered that way. But, with the "insert as normal playlist tracks" option is checked, the system is ignoring the event completely, and running through as I did not have my own break programmed, and running the network ad break instead of my own. So, I need help figuring out what I am doing wrong here. Perhaps you could add a concurrent event option under insert type, and that would help a lot. I've also tried "cue after playing track" but that has not worked either. Same issue. What am I doing wrong? Your help would be much appreciated. For my extra encoder I am sending to zeno.fm, and they have the ability to trigger ads with meta data, so I need those to send.

Can you please provide more details on the nature of the conflict? This hot key is already used in NVDA for some other purpose?

Sliders should work with simple arrow presses, no Ctrl/Alt is required.

I see that you use "Overlay playback" option, in this case, the "Insert as regular tracks" (as well as many other options) are not applied because the event will start within its own player. For Overlay events, no track titles are sent. For your case, I think this is the best solution, because the stream will be silenced while ad break plays and then after ad ends, it will immediately continue playing the stream. If you do not use Overlay, the ad break will be inserted into the playlist, stopping the stream (in case of Overlay it's not stopped, but silenced) and then it will require reconnecting to the stream which can introduce a bit of delay (RB Cloud will try preloading the stream but still there are no guarantees, especially if the ad break is very short).

Yes, it is. Ctrl + up or down arrow normally jumps between larger bodies of text like paragraphs.

At least using nvda, alt plus arrows is the only way I have ever been able to adjust sliders, both in rb cloud, as well as in other panels like Centova. So, even though these are not sliders, this key doesn't conflict with anything.

The ad break is to be 2 minutes long. Stream duration is set to 55 minutes. So, please be more specific as to which options need to be selected.

Sorry, tried to edit last post, but time ran out. Anyway, as previously stated, I NEED to have a way to overlay but still send meta data, since that is how ads are triggered on the service where I am sending my stream. Is there absolutely no way to make that work? Stream duration is 55 minutes, ad break lasts 2 minutes. I know I could split the stream in to two blocks, put the breaks in between, but this would be far from ideal, since I already have everything set up in scheduler for multiple hours of streamed shows, every day of the week. Right now, the way it is all set up in scheduler makes sense, and things are somewhat easy to find. If I were to have to separate streams in to two blocks to get my meta data to send in ad breaks, everything in scheduler would become a jumbled mess.
Please enable meta even during overlay. I need those ads to trigger propperly so I can take advantage of the revenue they will generate.

Overlay events do not send stream titles, so it wouldn't work. We'll add an option to allow updating titles from overlay events when they silence or pause main playlist.

That would be perfect! Thank you. :)
Also, with using meta data to trigger ads, I have noticed that sometimes the meta makes it to the server before the audio actually starts to play, causing the ad to trigger before it should, though not by much, but it doesn't sound as good as it could. Any chance you could add an option to delay titles by a little bit so things sync propperly? You might let the user actually define the amount, so they can adjust as needed, because it could be different from service to service. But I have seen the same thing happen across multiple services that use the same kinds of ad triggers. Thanks for considering my feedback.

RadioBOSS Cloud sends metadata right after it starts playing a music track. Then it's handled by the server and players. It's not supposed to be 100% in sync for a number of technical reasons.

I understand what you are saying, but it still might be helpfull to be able to delay by x number of seconds. Would appreciate at least having the option. There might be other cases where this would be usefull, though none come to mind other than what I have already brought up.

In radioboss cloud, we have the option to add our station to the directory. However, it would be nice to be able to choose which stream is actually used, as I would like to have my station in your directory, but use my zeno.fm stream, so listeners are all pointed to the same place, and so I can keep all my analytics in one spot. Any chance you can make that work?

I can't promise it now, we'll see if other users also have interest in it.

Just subscribe again...would likke to see pre installed VST plugins become availavle, also voice tracking.
Voice tracking will be available in one of the next updates, but for VSTs I'm not sure. They require a lot of CPU power (e.g. StereoTool) and also there are licensing requirements.
