To clarify, you want to prevent the users with "Edit playlist" right to be able to call the "Edit item" command in the playlist, and also prevent them from adding Track Lists? Even if so, they will be able to import tracks from the playlists and still able to add Track Lists (or anything else) this way.

That's right, just like PGP, which can be locked down so that no one can make changes.

Yes, the time stretch is only applied to music, and ignored for any file types.


Packing is done without questions asked so after you pack it, you can press Alt+4 (or right click, Tools / Edit) to change the name.

I'm not sure if this can be implemented, but here's a suggestion: In the Constarints that "do not select" include numbers. This would ensure that a same tag cannot appear within the next, say, 4 songs. Currently, a tag can be selected every second song, but I would like, for example, the "New Hits" tag to appear only every 4th or 5th song, rather than every second one.

When it comes to the Ads Scheduler: The "Test all blocks" feature shows the reason why a block has a warning when you hover over a cell.

Why not have the warning appear automatically as soon as the set limits are exceeded, without needing to click "Test all blocks"?

I was reviewing "ADS Scheduler" and would like to add some improvements for convenience.

1 - In the box where the time appears, we could add a label name or a custom color.
Example:

When you mark the time with the mouse, a personalized name appears.

2 - hide unused timeframes:

These improvements can help us distinguish specific "Schedules" and much more.

When I search for a song in the playlist, it does not ignore accented letters, so the search results are limited.

For example: It should accept the letters I,ı,İ,i as the same and show all the matching results, otherwise the uppercase and lowercase letters and spelling differences make the filter very limited.

Some examples from Turkish language (it may also be useful for different letters in other languages);

- G,g,Ğ,ğ
- I,ı,İ,i

Also I am wondering why AutoIntro isn't working with the possibility already set at 100 % (and all conditions are fulfilled!) We have 12:10 and it didn't work just once since morning!

Just to clarify: the condition "added less than 40 days ago" means the date in the music library, right? I tried "0-40 days ago" too.

Unfortunately, I have to say that I still really miss the ability to schedule songs/jingles by day and hour.
Yes, it was said that this could be organized using tags, but in the end, it turns out to be very complicated and not very functional. The final result is the same preset in the playlist generator in multiple versions, instead of simply being able to assign jingles by day and hour, so I would have one preset while everything else is handled automatically.

I don’t think I’m the only one who misses this feature, and most radio software has had it for a long time.

Great revision. I appreciate the accessibility changes in not only the add scheduler, but you properly labeled the level slider in both the voice track recorder and remote VT as well. The lack of accAlso, I saw the sweepers topic was updated, giving some needed clarity as to how to use the new minimum time option. Good stuff.

I noticed I have RadioBoss folders in "programs" and in "programs (x84)" - can that be problematic and maybe cause this connection-error? I installed the 64-bit-beta first by mistake once (StereoTool doesn't work there)

This would be very interesting, when adding a new Ads to a block, the situation of that block could be analyzed and reported at that time!

Hello. I'm thinking more and more about how we, with screen readers, can come up with those advanced options. One of the solutions could be to put those options in advanced.INI files and then we who know how to handle INI files can activate the options from the Advanced section that we need.

All those settings are located in player.ini or system.ini files in RadioBOSS's settings directory. Still, in majority of cases, you don't need those options at all. For instance, all voicetrack-related options were moved out of Advanced to Settings->Playback->Voice Tracks category.

The stretch speed time adjustment disappears soon after the next track starts. I tried playing tracks from different positions within the playlist to see if it would start working again, but the issue persists. In most cases (around 90% of the time), the stretch speed time adjustment is not applied at all.

The latest release has a bug rendering Time Stretch pretty much unusable. It will be fixed in the next release.

I set it in Constraints so that songs with the same tag do not follow one after another, but as seen in the picture, it still (sometimes) happens.

I'm not sure how it can be possible, just in case I'll add it to the bug tracker to check.

There is a problem, I don't see the "container file type" in the file types list. Do I have to add it manually?

Currently you can't create a file type for container, I'm sorry.

Another problem is that when packaging a SWP/ID/JINGLE with the time announcement in a container, only the SWP/ID/JINGLE is played and not the time announcement.

Does it show any error messages in the log? What is the time announcement, is it based on files or it's text-to-speech?

I have been having the same issue with teaser presets. One trick I use is to delete them from the presets folder. For teasers, I have found that this works.

This should be fixed in the latest update. Do you still have this problem there?
