RadioBOSS 7.1 [beta]

The problem is that analyzing can take up couple of minutes - depending on ads number and how many blocks you have.

Maybe there is a chance to do that audit analysis only for the selected day and block, as I show in the example image

Hi Dmitry, can you please tell me how I can go back to 7.0.8.0? As soon as I put in the license key after reinstalling it, it changes to Express with which I can't broadcast. I don't want this Ultimate beta - it doesn't work properly for on air yet and some settings are different which messes up my automation. I don't have enough time to figure it all out.

Another bug... AutoTeaser
1740569537843.png

From the playlist it doesn't choose songs with tag "New", just randomly ...

So AutoIntro isn't working, AutoTeaser neither, reconnect (disconnect/connect takes 6 sec) broken too ... that's enough for me. please let me go back to 7.0.8.0 Standard. I already wrote it twice to your support via mail.

Hi,
Here is a new video with the debug window displayed and the screenshots of the voice tracks settings and the mix points of the song.
Thank you, we'll check it.
Hello,
Have you been able to see this problem.?
The voice-tracks start at the end of the intro.
I have searched in all directions nothing works.
Even the "treat as music track" box does not change anything.
Thanks in advance

I was referring to the "maximum consecutive" option.
This will be possible in one of the future updates.

It is file-based. And no, there is no error message.
Thank you, there seems to be a bug when items with no duration specified will not play sometimes. Until it's fixed, you can ensure that network streams in the Container have duration specified. Items which duration is not known may not play - until the fix is released.

Maybe that's the bug? But on the other hand this can't be it because today it worked little better even though I didn't change anything. Still it is too less frequent.
Try adjusting the values. This feature works in a pretty simple way - it checks the rules and inserts or not an auto intro. We have it covered with automatic and manual tests and no errors in the rule processing are found.

But it has no AutoIntro (though i set 100 % possibility). Since 9:05 (approx. 6 hours!) there was no AutoIntro. (I also checked categories, there were no tracks with category before that new one and others.)
One way it may happen is when you have multiple rules that can be applied to this track, and that other rule is closer to the top of the list and you have rule check order defined as "Top to bottom" (this is the default).

Auto Intro first checks that the rule can be applied (conditions) and then it applies the "Probability". So in situation where you have other rules that can also be applied to this track, but they have low probability, it can happen that those rules are processed and due to probability they are not applied.

What you can do: check if other rules can be applied to those "New" tracks and modify/disable them/move them to bottom. In general, you should have more specific rules closer to top and more general at the bottom, or if you want more diversity change check order to "Random".

When RadioBOSS disconnects, it takes about 6 seconds before the connection is closed.
Interesting, thank you - we'll check if it's a bug.

The settings in the encoder affect this, so the issue originates from there. Even if I manually enter a value in the command line, the sampling rate in the encoder settings still affects it.
The {SampleRate} variable is substituted with the sample rate value from the encoder settings. You may not use this variable, but still RadioBOSS will have to internally use a resample (to resample the playlist to this sample rate) and then feed it to the encoder. So you should set the correct sample rate in the encoder's settings.

1 - Formats for inserting voice.
Currently it has flac, it would be nice to add other common formats like Mp3 and Wav.
With these formats active, we could even add voice + song remotely. Hopefully this will be possible in future updates.
FLAC is used to add compression, but also not lose i quality. Using WAV does not add any advantages but will be about 10x in size. mp3 will reduce the size about 3 times but I'm not sure it makes sense as voice tracks are not long anyway.
Adding songs will be possible in the future Remote VT updates - adding songs from library or even uploading new songs.

2 - View live minutes of the song playing.
be able to view the time that the song has been playing, to see how much time we have left to add the vocal track.
Noted, thank you.

3 - One detail worth noting is that when you delete the song that is playing from “Remote VT”, there is no way to know what song is coming next, you can only find out by watching RB.
Eventually it will show what's going to play. We'll add nowplaying/next boxes to show track titles.

4 - Track removal.
When trying to delete a track, have the option to add a message "Do you really want to delete this track?" so you don't delete a song by mistake.
Will be added, maybe made optional.

I added this for the future improvements list.

It's not really possible without downgrading your key. Please write to support@djsoft.net so we can find a solution.

All support emails are answered - please check. About Auto Intro please see my previous reply, could be that you have conflicting rules.

It's not yet checked, I'm sorry, but it's in the queue.

Sundays in event planner don't exist anymore :ROFLMAO:
On the screenshot it looks like the whole layout of the window is broken. Maybe try restarting RadioBOSS to get it fixed. Also looks like you have large font size, instead of it, the new version has an option in Settings->View->Style - Secondary window zoom - set this option instead of increasing the fonts, it will properly magnify the windows and everything will fit.

But I am still looking for a way how to control AutoIntro (without cooldown) more, so that it will be played just once in an hour f.e. . Do you have an idea therefore? With 45 % it is pretty randomly / unpredictable, it can be 2-3 hours nothing and then in one hour three times suddenly.

We were unable to reproduce this bug here. If this still happens in RadioBOSS 7.1.0.4, please make a video again with Ctrl+F4 debug window visible (it now has more information for the debugging).

The Time Stretch Feature displays time adjustments but does not execute them as expected.

At the beginning of the hour, the calculation appears correctly, ensuring it reaches the top of the hour. However, as it gets closer to the top of the hour, the feature completely disables itself.

Another issue I noticed is that, without adding anything to the playlist, the time stretch calculation disappears after a few songs are played and then reappears. If no changes were made to the playlist and the adjustment was already calculated, isn’t it strange that it disappears and then reappears with a different time stretch adjustment?

These tests were conducted using the Playlist Generator with two file types (Jingles and Songs), both enabled with the "Treat as a Music Track" feature. The default settings I am using for this feature are -4 and +4.
