Hey djsoft

my radioboss program started playing by itself all on it own

without me pressing anything on it

so what could be wrong then
 
Hey, The program came up and said something like "The key is invalid save your work NOW or you will be forced to shut down" then asked to enter key and whatnot. I tried to enter my key but it said it was invalid but it seams to be working now but I'm not sure why it did that?

Also not sure what happed, but I have a Playlist Generator Pro running by schedule at :00,:15,:30, and :45 of each hour, It was working at first but now im getting this error:

PlGen Error: 259 (C:\Program Files (x86)\RadioBOSS\PlaylistGeneratorPro.exe ""-hidden="1 jingle") preset: "1 jingle"
 
The exact error I am getting is:

Your temporary key has expired. If you believe this message is in error, please contact the program's author.

Then it gives me options to "Enter Key", "OK", or "Buy Now!"

This happens when I try to run Playlist Generator Pro by schedule or open Playlist Generator Pro at all.
 
Okay, I shut down RadioBOSS, when I brought it back up it came to the trial window and said that it was in trial mode. I entered my key and activated, worked fine.

Its working fine now, but I am not sure why it did that before? May be a bug.
 
Not really sure why it does this, but I have noticed that once in a while the song playing will end early then skip to the next song. I looked at the song and it shouldn't end like it does, so I don't believe it is the track, but I know one of the tracks that it just did it to, so I can send it to you if you need me to.

It is a WMA file if that helps at all.
 
Okay it is telling me my key is invalid again and won't let me activate again.

I get "An error occurred. Code: 13 (Incorrect unlock code). Please contact support@djsoft.net" and my station is down right now (Well, im running off the trial).

I am not trying to bug or anything, but you think you can get this fixed soon?

Here's another interesting thing...if you could integrate it, it would be awesome!

I used Shout! Radio Automation for a while, and they had this nifty little feature where you could "append" a track to the beginning or end of a song. I used it for artist/station identification - where one of the band members would record "Hey, this is Daniel from In Betrayal, and you're listening to Gen2point0 Radio" and then it would go into an In Betrayal song.

Others could use it for like song tagging (without having to actually edit the audio of the song file) like the station I work for does with new music, or that I've heard on other stations when there's no live jock -as a way to ID the song/artist.

It worked like this: In the track info, the file patch you wanted to append to the music track was specified .. and then whenever that track was scheduled, the appended track would be scheduled in the position immediately before it.

Is that something that's not too hard to do? Cause I could (and I'm sure that would open up a window for others to) definitely be able to use it.

There used to be such a feature in previous versions of RadioBOSS, called Voice Track. It's disabled now (because of massive changes in program code and other architecture changes), but will be back soon, new and improved :)

Yes, I think this will be resolved soon. Seems to be some bug with beta license keys...

Something else I just noticed, When I do Profile Generator Pro by schedule, it will play a artist twice when it shouldn't. Went and looked in Playlist Generator Pro and for some reason it is not saving the "Do not repeat artist" and "Do not repeat track" options, and when I switch from one preset to another it does not update.
 
I just noticed something happening as well.

I have an event scheduled to run a promo at :15 after the top of the hour. However, I unchecked every day of the week, which means it should not run at all... yet, it's still running! Magic! hehe

Just wanted to let you know about that. =)

Maybe you have the "Use date" option turned on?
 
No, the only thing I have checked is "Remove previous schedule from playlist" and "Hours". No dates at all, which is what I thought would have made it not run. It's okay.. I can just delete it if I don't want it to run, I was just wondering why it would run when there was no date selected hehe
