There are no limits in RadioBOSS for file lenght. What's wrong with 24 hour files?

Also, when I use the Playlist Generator Pro "Do not repeat artist for" feature, I put the "Consider strings identical when matching for" to 100% but it still plays a artist twice, for example it will play "XYZ Band" but then play "XYZ Band & ABC Group" right after. Not sure if i'm doing something wrong of if its not working right.

In this case, you should set the matching percentage to about 50%.
If you set to 100%, this means titles have to fully match each other, eg "XYZ Band" is different artist compared to "XYZ Band & ABC Group". But if you set to 50%, those artists will be considered as the same.

the problem with 24 hour file is that, it plays fine when you try to seek the 24 hour file to different spot of you left on

it won't allow us to seek that far into the 24 hour file, it just allows to seek it a little abit and not allow us to seek it when we seek it at

thats the problem

hello friend, happy to greet you, your program is very good, but even to automate radio files missing hour.

I hope you take into account my opinion, your program has almost everything, take it to be the best. Taking into account the time, as the program that you comment some time ago.

when i try to play 24 hour files on radioboss, it stalls for 2 to 5 minutes before it begins to play the file

and when i try to seek a 24 hour file to spot i would like it to be, it does nor work at all

so can you fix those 2 problems please

I found out this also

when people play 24 hour files on radioboss, there cpu ram jumps from 24 to 86 in just a few seconds

so can you please listen to me Djsoft and fix this please

I was making a list of things I noticed in RB 4.5, and one of them was already mentioned... the "Export To Player" issue, so no need to go into that.

The other things I've noticed, were that I think the Track Tool could use a Zoom feature on the waveform. Is this possible? I've worked with ENCO, and NexGen and they have it (of course, I know those are the higher end radio automation systems) but that zoom function just makes life so much easier when setting start/end and segue (or mix) positions.

Another thing that would make life just that much easier would be a "Select All" check box in the Hours scrren (when adding a Scheduled event) .. I run my Station ID, and :15 Promos off the Scheduler, and I required all hours to be checked. It was just a small pain to go through and check every box for every hour =)

Aside from that, I loooooove love love RB 4.5. It's everything (and more) that I could have hoped for. Thanks for your continued dedication, and hard work!

This issue was fixed in the latest update (.720 version), if you're telling about Playlist Generator pro.

Have you updated to the latest version (.720)? There was a bug with broadcasting, but it's fixed already.

Also, When I try to Schedule playlist generator I put "generate rap" but when it generates it, it only inserts one track. Is it trying to call a Playlist Generator preset or a Playlist Generator Pro preset? Cause I have a Playlist Generator Pro preset called "rap" which should generate 4 hours worth of music, but I do not have a Playlist Generator preset called "rap", so is it trying to call the Playlist Generator preset and if so how can I get it to use Playlist Generator Pro?

Also it is selecting songs from my Rock database and not my Rap database, so I am guessing that its trying to use the Playlist Generator preset.

It's better to use the wizard to create scheduler commands.
Command generate using the Playlist Generator Pro: generate [pro] preset_name
