What i would like to have is the FX also in the 3th workzone so i can use plugins from that place

Moving the FX tab somewhere else is a big change in the UI so wouldn't be possible in this version as it's about to be released. Why move it by the way?

If you want to synchronize scheduled events between two computers, what is the end purpose of this? I suppose it should also schedule playlists and other things like playlist generator presets otherwise synched events may not work properly.

That's what we do currently. We have one computer system where all the changes are made. Robocopy scripts monitor folders for changes and when a change is detected, it pushes them to the studio computers. The studio computers also periodically refresh their schedules and reload with the latest info, with API commands.

Under the new system it may still work, but our music database / library won't update that way anymore, because of the changes to the music library in this version of RadioBOSS. We're going to change to MySQL as a result, but since some of the program is already utilising database infrastructure, I was wondering if the schedule / playlists etc. would follow suit, since in theory you would only want to use MySQL if multiple copies of RadioBOSS are interlinked.

The end purpose is because we have more than one studio to put music and content to air at our radio station, so they need to be synchronised to maintain a common experience for our presenters

You can add music and create new libraries. Importing from XML files is also possible if you click Add->Import and select "Legacy XML" option.

Thanks for help me, I couldn't find the "Legacy XML" option because a list has to display to find it.

When you double click, it will delete the two tracks - one that you clicked initially, then the next track after it, also starting that next track to play. I'm not sure it's a bug, it just executes the two commands: two deletions and double-click playback.

overall, the new release is working VERY well, its automation is good, keeps my station on the air, i am quite happy with this release. I am learning how to work with the options

Maybe this will be possible in the future, when we redesign the left side of the program to make it more customizable.

Moving scheduled events to the database is a big change, and a lot of work, while I don't see any real benefit from it. Database is used to store and process relatively large amounts of data like music libraries, track information etc. If you already familiar with RadioBOSS API then copying events between multiple instances is fairly easy.

Do you often see this? I'm not sure where this additional scroll bar can come from. Perhaps some issue with the custom theme. Does it disappear if you switch betweeen Overlay and Log tabs?

There are still some minor features to be added, and also user manual must be updated. You can already use it in production, we have no known stability issues, and minor bugs are always present no matter how many of them are fixed

It's already in use, everything works perfectly, without problems!

I have seen this problem several times, although I do not know when it triggers. For example, before writing this post, I was selecting between several tracks and it did not happen.

I found the problem and how to reproduce it. It only appears with the dark theme.
The superimposed scroll bar is actually the one for the log. (not hidden when changing lapels). When the left panel is resized, the log bar remains fixed and visible.

Maybe this will be possible in the future, when we redesign the left side of the program to make it more customizable.

It would be a great improvement. Convert the left panel to a workspace

Update: the problem seems to happen when inserting tracks into the list from the planner

right click on a file in the queued playlist, tools, open file location, seems to open a completely different folder location, in this screen shot it opens a folder and highlight a folder called "my documents" yet i know where that file really is, and its not there.

it would be really helpful to be able to do a "run now" from the "right click menu" on an item in the scheduler, instead of the run now button at the top

I found the problem and how to reproduce it. It only appears with the dark theme.

It's a bug with the theme engine - in this case we'll wait until it's fixed by its developer. Nothing can be done from our part about it.

A quick test does not confirm this bug. Is it a regular folder, or it's a network path?

I have a question,
will it be possible to install the final 6 version over a 5?
Or do you have to do a clean installation and if we have to do a clean install, can we use or convert the settings from the 5 series?

For that you must make a backup copy of the settings in version 5.
Go to "Settings / Settings backup and restore / Backup settings"

Then in version 6 restore from that backup (zip file without unzipping it).

I did it like this in v.5.9.4 and it worked fine for me, I got all my settings back.

With legacy XML database I had to do it separately, I made a backup copy of my Music Library (v.5.9.4) and then I restored it from v.6 as I showed in the screenshots of my previous post (look above).
