Music Library

• The Music Library has been reworked. Now it uses a database management system for information storage (instead of XML files in the previous versions). Improved search, load, and sorting speeds. More data fields are displayed in the list (columns can be selected). Drag-n-drop files from the library to Windows folders. Lots of other improvements.
• Disabled tracks are marked in the list with color (grey background)
• Tracks with missing or empty tag are marked with italic font in the list

Segue Editor

• Changes are applied immediately to the playing track
• Minor improvements and fixed bugs

Report Generator

• Fixed: some tracks were included in the report ignoring the "Do not include in the report" file type option

• Music libraries created in previous versions will not open in this version
• Removed "playfile" and "read_folder" scheduler commands
• "makelibrary" scheduler command does not support full paths for library names (because libraries are no longer saved to files), only the library name must be specified

I believe that together we are making a better final product possible.
It could be a good idea to encourage beta testers to raffle a license or directly grant us one of less time than the purchased ones.
We could also control in warez forums that we are users that there are no pirated copies of RB.
This will increase the sales of the original products, the company wins and we win the collaborators.

When the music library is updating (via API command line), database searching becomes slow within RadioBOSS, on the same system doing the music file updates and also other systems connected to the database.

We can introduce a minor change delay to reduce queries to the database. This will be implemented in the next version, I think as a standard feature (not requiring changing the configuration). Most people do not need it to search on first 1-2 letters anyway, and those who do, will just wait like 300ms and get the results.

In the Playlist that is airing (the one that is playing) it is not allowed to use the keyboard functions nor to drag tracks within the list using the mouse. In my version some events and track cover continue to flash.

Nothing is reproducing here. Do you use the most recent update? Dragging/selection issue in the second half of the playlist seems to be a bug - thank you.

VirusTotal just spotted 1 adware, I'm pretty sure it's a false positive, but I wanted to share it with the developer in case you want to discuss it with Jiangmin to get whitelisted.

The drag and keyboard issue occurs from the middle of the list down.

How many items do you have in the list, and on what items (numbers) it fails to work?

i have now stopping trying to hide the log window that keeps popping up and now am working with it, just show all entries and just minimize to the last 4 entries thus

Yes, as discussed before, hiding the log window is a bad idea. You should be able to see what's going on, especially errors. Because RadioBOSS only has the log to communicate, there are no error boxes (to avoid having lots of them with unattended prolonged operation).

When you highlight multiple tracks, you can drag them all up and down which is great. If you go too far up though, it stops having all of the tracks selected and drops down to only 1 track being selected. Expected behaviour would be for the track selection to 'hit' the top of the playlist and not advance any further. When dragging to the bottom of the playlist, it is slightly different behaviour but still not what would be expected.

For large playlists (we have 286 songs in 1 playlist), after track #150, multi select in the playlist isn't possible. The tracks just above may be selected (#148 / #149 etc.) occasionally, but it is intermittent.

With a license that allows my little online radio to go on the air I am more than grateful.
It is not a commercial radio, I do not have advertisements (RadioBoss may be the first) it is a chat radio and I do not have money to buy a license.
I will help as much as I can by providing information on possible bugs, for now everything works wonders.

This is by design, the user list is modified right away.

Stops are not being cleared out of the playlist when they have been 'played' (in Queue mode). This leads to a bunch of them accumulating at the top at the end of a presenter's shift if they don't clear them out manually.

If they remain there, it can interfere with API command remote commanding the player to start playing the first track. Expected behaviour is for the stop command to stop playback and then remove itself from the playlist, ready for the next track to play.

If you're getting conflicting reasons why this should remain in the playlist vs. why it shouldn't, I don't mind having an advanced option to retain the behaviour of the stop clearing out of the playlist (I mention this because you specified "Fixed "stop after this track" in queue mode" in the last update). Or otherwise if it's intended for the stop to clear out, then I'm reporting a bug.

I tried this under a brand new profile, and using our usual profile, and the behaviour is present in both scenarios.
