I've written this post before the video was posted. The next RB will produce an error message for the case shown in video.

If it crashes, the icon will stay until you hover mouse above it.

I think you should uninstall old version reboot install new version reboot try it then if the issue continues then they need to fix it.

unsupported format looks like 22050 Hz setting applied somewhere.
And those processes start/stop ones again tells me that this is purely Windows problem. Those sound drivers for 7 are totally strange . Before you plug the cable you cannot access the soundcard to select it as input or output! This is valid for the input too.

bug when closing RB 5.2.0.5:

Despite missing the program interface. I could not upgrade to the 5.0.2.6 beta because RadioBOSS was running in the background. The solution was to close the program with Task Manager

No, the problem is that synchronization failure. example
Audio: Eminem Ft Dido - Stan = 5:20:20 (hours: minutes: seconds).
Metadata: Eminem Ft Dido - Stan = 5:20:50 (hours: minutes: seconds).

This difference is always constant, metadata are delayed behind the audio.
If this can not be improved, prefer to turn it off entirely. (and llegen regarding the advanced audio metadata) and just adjust the delay with some script.

Update on this issue. Some measures to improve this will be made in the next update (5.2.0.7). If it still does not help, a new player.ini option is added to disable the metadata sync completely (the titles will come before the music when using large buffers):
DisableTitleSync
To change it:
1. Click Settings->Open Settings folder
2. Close RadioBOSS
3. Open player.ini file
4. Locate the "DisableTitleSync = False" string and change it to "DisableTitleSync = True", save player.ini
(note all this will only be available in RB 5.2.0.7).

again thanks for adding this. 
I'm doing some tests and mysteriously metadata are perfectly synchronized when the option "DisableTitleSync" is activated.
at least it works well with 50 second buffer, stream Icecast Ogg 192 khz.
It is strange but works great

What's up with the links to buying RB all over the menus in 5.0.2.6, please can you fix this its annoying? Furthermore, when talking over music it sounds very weird like in and out like the sound is phasing or something or just messing up and its not good my voice sounds like crap it's very crazy.
