RadioBOSS 7.1 [beta]

It's set in seconds. It means that when this Auto Intro rules is used, it will not be used again for the specified amount of seconds.
This is good, thank you. It was always problematic that sometimes the rule (even when it is set on 40 %) was used 3-4 times in an hour, and sometimes just once or nothing at all. So I guess when I set it to 1800 seconds (30 minutes) I can prevent AutoIntro being used too often / too short after previous one.

Yes, it's also to handle the case when you have two or more rules that can be used, but it always/more often chooses one of them, this Cooldown option will allow using the rules more evenly.

Ok, but there is unfortunately still no way to set that in one rule (tracks with tag "new") it should choose the files in the folder in order instead of randomly. Maybe that would be easier.

So I guess the solution is to make seperate (same) rules in combination with cooldown.

This happens sometimes. On average, every 6-8 times.
Constraints is an interesting feature for me. Maybe add Years as well? That way, I can set a rule so that two songs from the same year don’t appear together, or after a song from 1980, the next one can’t be older than 1975, etc.

Maybe I would reverse the selection: After () Don't select (). That way, it follows the playlist order, which makes more sense.

One question: What would Less than and More than mean for Comment, Gender, and Language?

Thank you so much for the update. Question. Do do the voice track bed fade out settings now work for beds that are configured for a file type? Because I'm testing it now and not hearing a difference. The beds still don't fade out when configured for file type. Unless I'm doing something wrong? Within the file type window there are no visible settings to control fade out parameters for music beds - these are only currently found under the Voice track settings window. Is fading intended to apply universally once you adjust it in the Voicetrack settings window? Because it's not working under file types.

Dear Team RB,

Although the "Treat as Music Track" feature is added and enabled for the Time Stretch feature, the playlist behaves strangely. It does not calculate up to the end of the hour. While the stretch calculation appears on the first track ( Playing Track ), it often does not update after the second track starts playing. I tested this with two file types (Jingles and Music), both enabled with the "Treat as Music Track" feature, and the issue persists.

Thank you

File Types: added "Treat as music track" option to allow applying Time Stretch and other features to file types
This is a wonderful settings feature indeed. Would it be possible to make it so that this would apply also for voice track attenuation settings? Such that attenuation would only apply to file types selected as music tracks. I may want the music to fade into and out of voicetracks, however if I have a sweeper or other station imaging following a voice track, I would require no attenuation. Currently the attenuation settings apply universally to all file types, yet in most cases would only need to apply to music tracks.

Ok, but there is unfortunately still no way to set that in one rule (tracks with tag "new") it should choose the files in the folder in order instead of randomly. Maybe that would be easier.
Yes, currently it's only able to select a random intro. One of the reasons is that "In order" will have to track what it's selected, and also handling cases of added/removed files. Which makes this feature unnecessary complex.

So I guess the solution is to make seperate (same) rules in combination with cooldown.
This could work if you properly set the cooldowns. There may be cases when the first rule of this chain will be used more frequent than the other rules.

This happens sometimes. On average, every 6-8 times.
Can you please specify what happens?

Constraints is an interesting feature for me. Maybe add Years as well? That way, I can set a rule so that two songs from the same year don’t appear together, or after a song from 1980, the next one can’t be older than 1975, etc.
Yes, this makes sense. Will be added in the next update.

Maybe I would reverse the selection: After () Don't select (). That way, it follows the playlist order, which makes more sense.
Probably you're right. Noted also.

One question: What would Less than and More than mean for Comment, Gender, and Language?
For less than/more than it converts the string to a number, then compares those numbers. If the string is not a valid number, it will be treated as zero. So comparing any non-numerical strings will result in "equal".

I would like those two options to be able to be blocked or hidden from other users.
To clarify, you want to prevent the users with "Edit playlist" right to be able to call the "Edit item" command in the playlist, and also prevent them from adding Track Lists? Even if so, they will be able to import tracks from the playlists and still able to add Track Lists (or anything else) this way.

Thank you so much for the update. Question. Do do the voice track bed fade out settings now work for beds that are configured for a file type? Because I'm testing it now and not hearing a difference. The beds still don't fade out when configured for file type.
When a file type has "Voice track" option, its bed will be treated with the settings from the Playback -> Voice tracking window. File type bed itself doesn't have any fade in/out settings for the bed because it's faded out with the track itself (according to Crossfade settings - track and bed are mixed to a single stream and it's faded).

What happens after it plays the first track, does it reset the time stretch speed adjustment?

Such that attenuation would only apply to file types selected as music tracks. I may want the music to fade into and out of voicetracks, however if I have a sweeper or other station imaging following a voice track, I would require no attenuation. Currently the attenuation settings apply universally to all file types, yet in most cases would only need to apply to music tracks.
At this point it wouldn't be possible to add this, as when a voice track is played it attenuates the entire mix of the music, not caring what's played there (file type or not). Maybe in the future updates but not now as this big change will require a lot of testing.

Hello. I'm thinking more and more about how we, with screen readers, can come up with those advanced options. One of the solutions could be to put those options in advanced.INI files and then we who know how to handle INI files can activate the options from the Advanced section that we need.

What happens after it plays the first track, does it reset the time stretch speed adjustment?
The stretch speed time adjustment disappears soon after the next track starts. I tried playing tracks from different positions within the playlist to see if it would start working again, but the issue persists. In most cases (around 90% of the time), the stretch speed time adjustment is not applied at all.

There is a problem, I don't see the "container file type" in the file types list. Do I have to add it manually?

Another problem is that when packaging a SWP/ID/JINGLE with the time announcement in a container, only the SWP/ID/JINGLE is played and not the time announcement.

It also doesn't play "network stream".
and you see a line in the playback status bar when playing a container
